The City of Temple Terrace is working with a contractor to mill and resurface the roadways in the River Run subdivision, including Capwood Avenue. Please note that the work is ongoing, including the section of Capwood Avenue east of Woodland Ridge Drive, where the contractor encountered difficulty creating a level surface. That section will be re-milled and resurfaced in the final phase of the project which should begin in January 2023.

Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon

Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons

The Florida Department of Transportation District Seven installed four new crosswalks with pedestrian hybrid beacons on Busch Boulevard in Temple Terrace and Tampa in December 2020 – including one at Overlook Drive. The crosswalks provide more options for pedestrians to safely cross the busy roadway. Check out this video link provided by Bike/Walk Tampa Bay to learn more about the using these enhancements to our City.
